North District Sports
McDowall State School is part of the North District
sports, along with 14 other primary schools. The district forms representative
teams for a variety of sports and holds carnivals for athletics, cross-country running
and swimming throughout the year.
To join a North District sports team, students must
attend a trial and meet set criteria. Most students who make a North District
team play the sport at club level and are one of their teams better
players.
