North District Sports
McDowall State School is part of the North District sports, along with 14 other primary schools. The district forms representative teams for a variety of sports and holds carnivals for athletics, cross-country running and swimming throughout the year.
To join a North District sports team, students must attend a trial and meet set criteria. Most students who make a North District team play the sport at club level and are one of their teams better players.
TO ATTEND A TRIAL
1.    Trial Notices are posted on the school Sports Noticeboard when they are available through the North District website. (Refer to Link below)
2.    Once a trial notice has been posted parents, complete and sign the Permission & Consent Form - available from School Administration.
3.    Once signed by parents, hand in forms to School Administration for Mr Pedwell (Deputy Principal) to sign and authorise. Please note, authority to attend a trial will only be granted for students who reflects the McDowall State School 'Standard for Student Conduct - SRL0'.
