The Australian Curriculum
The Australian Curriculum describes what young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling. It is the foundation for their future learning, growth and active participation in the Australian community. It sets out essential knowledge, understanding, skills and capabilities and provides a national standard for student achievement in core learning areas.
The Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) project is a set of example planning resources to help teachers implement the Australian Curriculum in Queensland state schools. Use of C2C materials is not mandated by the department. The C2C materials provide a starting point for curriculum planning and teachers at McDowall State School adopt or adapt these materials to meet individual student learning needs and local contexts.
The C2C resources are available in the Australian Curriculum learning areas of:
English
Mathematics
Science
